MNS Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Martha Dadala, PE, Northern California Transportation Market Leader; Frank Cannizzaro, PE, QSD/P, Principal Construction Manager, Northern California; and Tanveer “Tan” Rao, PE, Principal Construction Manager, Southern California.

Each of them brings unique and highly technical expertise to our Engineering and Construction Management practices.”
Martha brings over 27 years of transportation project management and design expertise, including planning and geometric design of highways, interchanges, roundabouts and intersections, public infrastructure development, pavement engineering and complete streets design. Martha’s extensive experience includes work in India, Malaysia and the United States. Example projects include the design of the new interchange on SR 120 in Manteca, Route 4 Freeway Extension, I-5/Eight Mile Road Interchange, and independent review of the Fresno to Bakersfield High Speed Rail Project Segment. She brings technical expertise in highway project development planning, project implementation/delivery, design management, construction support and public involvement. Ms. Dadala holds a MS in Geotechnical Engineering and a BS in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal India. Martha will join the San Jose office and provide management and technical oversight for transportation projects in Northern California.
Frank brings over 31 years of experience in the construction industry working on a variety of State, Federal and private projects throughout Northern California. He has a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering a wide range of projects, from environmental remediation to wetland and flood control projects to large highway/bridge improvement projects such as the Route 101 Widening in Millbrae and the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. Frank has a strong technical, financial, and overall project management background and has worked as a contract manager, project manager/engineer, quality control manager, resident engineer and construction field inspector. Mr. Cannizzaro holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University, California, and an MBA in Corporate Financing from Golden State University, California. Frank will be in the Oakland office and provide construction management support to the growing CM transportation division in Northern California.
With more than 32 years of successful hands-on experience, Tanveer “Tan” Rao is a Principal Construction Manager of civil water and wastewater projects with extensive experience in project execution, design-bid-build, design-build, and construction management. Tan’s primary focus has been alternative project delivery (Design-Build and CMAR), program and construction management, owner’s representation, claims management and dispute resolution, and CPM Scheduling. His most recent project experience includes project management of two large wastewater treatment projects for the City of San Jose as part of their $1.4 Billion CIP program. He also worked on West Basin Municipal Water District Recycled Water Plant Expansion Phase V (MF-RO-UV) project and the new anion exchange design-build Water Treatment Plant for the City of Pomona. His work experience includes international work in Saudi Arabia and South Africa. Mr. Rao holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, Illinois, an MS in Construction Management and an MS in Civil Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He is also a member of Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society.
