Firm Strengthens Position as Water Resources Infrastructure Market Leader with Key New Hire
Westlake Village, CA (August 20, 2013)—California infrastructure services firm MNS Engineers Inc. announced Tuesday that it has appointed Peter Brennan, PE, CCM, as Principal Construction Manager, working within the firm’s Water Resources Division.
MNS’s President and CEO, Jim Salvito, said, “Bringing Peter on board means we can now meet the growing demand from public agency clients for the top-quality, high-value construction management services MNS is known for. With Peter joining the team, MNS can now service the Water Resources Market across a wider geographical area, ultimately serving a greater number of clients.”
“I am looking forward to helping grow MNS’s water resources construction management presence across Southern California,” said Brennan of his position with the company. Brennan brings with him over 25 years of experience with construction management on large-scale water resources infrastructure programs, particularly in the realm of water treatment.
Brennan’s extensive construction management (CM) experience in wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and landfills makes him a valuable resource for MNS’s public agency clients, adding a depth of resources to the company’s already-comprehensive CM service offering. His work for the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts—particularly with the comprehensive treatment retrofit programs for existing wastewater plants in the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys—make him particularly suited to problem-solving for local agencies.
When asked about larger trends in our state’s water resources infrastructure planning, Brennan said, “In California, we’re already seeing a move toward advanced treatment facilities. Cities and Counties want to move away from bringing in state water,” meaning that finding safe, sustainable ways to reuse water is one area seeing marked innovation and advancement.
