The Cuesta College Hollister Bridge opened ahead of schedule on December 1, two months ahead of schedule.
The MNS Engineers construction management and inspection team worked with Cuesta College and general contractor Souza Construction to complete the bridge project earlier than anticipated.
The $2 million bridge reconstruction project was fully funded by the Federal Highway Bridge Replacement Fund (HBR) and the State Office of Emergency Services. The portion of the project funding received from the HBR Fund was administered locally by Caltrans Local Assistance in San Luis Obispo.
