MNS Delivers Community Parks Projects

June 22, 2009

With numerous projects in our portfolio in recent years, MNS continues to deliver quality park, trail, and recreation facility projects for our local communities.

Completed earlier this year, the City of Malibu hired MNS to design an advanced technology septic system and pedestrian bridge at Las Flores Canyon Creek Park. Working in a Coastal Development Zone and over a sensitive creek environment, MNS designed the bridge with non-intrusive construction methods in mind, and created 3D simulations to assist the City in obtaining local commission approval.

MNS is currently providing construction management and inspection for the new 55-acre Village at the Park Sports Complex for the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Parks District in Camarillo. With four softball diamonds, 25 acres of soccer fields, and three multi-purpose buildings, the Sports Complex will be the District’s largest park facility. Construction is scheduled to be complete in early 2010.
